I am a long time music lover who got bit by the multi-channel bug only about a year ago. I would still more than likely be listening to my old JVC ProLogic box and my AR94s were it not for an unfortunate failure in one of the latter. But, alas, I am now addicted to this hobby and all of it's (FUN) trappings.

On a brighter note, I have managed to avoid divorce in the last year of my (wife's phrase) "mid-life crisis" and I think my daughter still loves me as well.

Anyway, looking forward to chatting with you guys/gals!

Welcome to the forum Sneezy.

This hobby of ours can get us into a lot of trouble with our spouse, but when you get the green light for purchases, it sure makes everything worth it. Besides, this is a much better vent for your 'mid-life' crisis than other avenues!!! She should be happy if this is as far as your mid life crisis goes.

Yeah... we could all be doing much worse, huh? My wife knows that as long as I keep spending as much time as I do foolin' around with HT stuff, she is pretty safe not to have to worry about anything else... lol. Throw me an HT bone...
