I will be getting a new TV in a few months and getting a new surround sound system, but I'm planning on building the Subwoofer, because that's what I want to do. I enjoy putting together car audio systems and that's the main reason I want to build a custom sub for my future home system. I'm not sure what brand I will be going with, but I know it will be most likely a 15" driver that I will be using. So I will appreciate any recommendations on using a specific type of brand, and I will be constructing a ported box, tuned low. I'll be checking out the forums.
