Hi everybody. Just registered today.

I noticed that my circa 1980 ALtec Lansing Model 9's were failing (foam rot around the subs), so figured it was time to retire them and my Marantz 2270. Two months ago, I picked up a Denon 3808 receiver, a set of discontinued KEF KHT 2005.2 speakers, and a 42 inch Panasonic Viera plasma.

Now I just need to persuade my wife that a PS2 would be a valuable addition as a Blueray player!

Now I'm thinking I should get the Model 9's refoamed, and go 7.1
