Time To Build A HT

Well, it's time to build a home theater and I thought with a little research maybe I will miss some of the mistakes others have made. (WHATEVER) Anyway, my search has brought me here. Currently I have a 46'' Samsung LCD, 5.1 Kenwood bought back in 2004 and my living room set up to produce the best sound.

Today I am currently looking into building a bonus 2 rooms in the attic. I have an open space of 41' X 13'. I figured why not add 500 square feet to the house. My wife how great she is said, "Why not build that HT you have always wanted." So now 22' X 13 is open for HT. I'm looking to get a projector, build a screen, a new 7.1 sound, and even buy 3x2 seating with buttshakers. So you see when your wife gives the green light it's time to fly and not look back. I hope you all will help me find and produce the best theater in Kentucky for the money we have to spend.

Thanks already for all the info up. I have been reading for hours this weekend.

Bo
