| Hello From Virginia Hello From Virginia... Anyway, a lil about me and my HT..living in a townhouse i am kinda limited one what I can do, but I went probably a lil above and beyond for this house, but atleast I have something that totally destroys any HTIB I have had. So my 1st HTIB was an RCA 1000 watt system i bought from Radio shack back in the day. And alway being a Gamer and one of my favorite movies is the Matrix, I wanted something to show that off. Well I remember getting it, connecting it and then having my neighbor over and being like "Sit here and check this out" Then i turned it to the lobby scene and BAM, was blown away, that one lasted me a while, then about 5 years ago i picked up a Yamaha HTIB, because the reciever died on the RCA and i couldnt find a reciever that supported a "Dead" sub. To this day the Yamaha still works and the sound is amazing, and i relize how much cleaner the yamaha sounded compared to the RCA...So I was a happy camper there.... Then came the day I finally bought my 1st HD TV...A panasonic TH42PZ77U (last X-mas) and from that moment I knew i needed to upgrade EVERYTHING...So I went off and bought an Onkyo 705 reciever, then picked up 2 Polk RTi8's and then a Polk Csi3, then a pair of FXiA4's and well finally my sub and eD A3-300...It just came the other day and WOW. Anyway, I'm totally in love with my new home theater..like i said being a gamer this brings joy to my heart....Also with this new set up and with the introduction of HD and Blu in my life, movies are fun again...But even though it seems like I have a clue, I kinda do but I am never afraid to ask for help, advice or whatever. I am also willing to help where I can....So Im not totally new, but still am kinda knew to the whole surround sound, home theater world. So Im sure you will see alot of me because I seem to always have a question, I am always willing to learn something new, and I wante to help you all where I can. See you all around soon..and I hope you enjoyed my lil background to where I have been in the HT world. ![]() | ||||
