Hello from Cali

Hey all,
Just registered today, found y'all through random googling for subwoofer stuff. HTS seems pretty friendly, think I'll stick around a bit.

Currently a second year student in an undergraduate EE program in northern California - specialty of circuit design and signal processing, so don't be surprised if I ask a lot of circuit questions here. Doesn't seem like too much of that going around here, but that's cool.

Also pretty interested in audio - my friends (and parents) think I'm crazy for all the time and money I spend on it. Currently have the basics of a small woodshop in my dorm room - circular saw, jigsaw, router, drill, random other stuff. I don't use most of the stuff in the room (go outside for that) but right now I'm constructing a sub on my bed. I put the mattress on the floor. I do pay for all my stuff myself - work about 10 hours a week as an office assistant on campus.

Hmm. That's about it. Good to be here.

Justin
