| New member checing in from PA - FL Good afternoon, as you may have guessed my name's Derek and I live in PA for the next 96hrs. I'm moving to FL here soon so my wife can pursue her PhD. I've always been a movie guy, having been a projectionist in my younger years I grew to love movies. I just purchased my first HDTV, it's a Panasonic TH-42PZ80U and should be delivered any day now. Just in time to pack in a truck and move south. I have plans to acquire some AV gear here at some point and build a mini-theater, nothing big like I've seen lately. It will be very modest ad enjoyable for the wife and I and our son as he grows up (he's currently 10 months old). I figure the Disney and Pixar movies will be enjoyable for him. Anyway, I've rambled enough for now. I'm going to go browse the forums and read up what's happening around here. I’m sure I'll have questions, but don't worry, I know what the search function is for. eta: doh! misspelled checking.  | ||||
