New guy from Boise, ID

I've been a member of the audioholics forum for a couple years now since I thought it to be the only forum that wasn't filled with morons (such as avsforums, no offense). I've been coming over here lately to read several threads regarding sub testing, room EQ, and other topics and I like what I'm reading.

I'm not a master of audio by no means but I do enjoy learning about the hobby, I've got a DIY itch that probably won't stop and will only get worse as funds allow, next project up is hopefully a DIY kappa perfect 12" VQ sub or two.

I enjoy the threads that are about audio theories, concepts, technology, and the like. SpeakerA vs. SpeakerB threads have lost their savor with me.

After poking around a bit I'm really impressed with the support and discussions going on about the BFD and DIY in general, way more organized than DIYaudio.com and a lot more content then audioholics
