Hello! I was searching the web, looking for Denon products when I came across your forum. Congrads to your webmaster for excellent search engine optimization! I decided to join your forum because I am in the process of building a 'little theater’ in our basement.

I don’t have any real questions now, but just wanted to scan your site to see if I could pick up some good pointers on home theater.

So far, I have purchased a Mitsubishi WD-73833 73" DLP (latest model out, with a 120 Hz refresh rate). I had it calibrated by Circuit City which optimizes for the best 1080p picture, as well as reducing power consumption (to about 40% less).

I also purchased a Denon receiver, model AVR688 and Boston Acoustics speakers (5.1). Later, I may upgrade to 7.1, as the Denon is equipped to handle this.

For playing movies, I purchased a Playstation 3, which plays Blue Ray, as well as games. I am also told that this Playstation can be converted into a computer.

All in all, once completed, it looks like I should have an awesome system!
