Hello everyone. This is my first post on any site so I am unsure as to how this all works. Anyway, I am one you might call a novice with an ear: I know what I like but I don't know much about the technology behind it.

In the late eighties early nineties I was lucky enough to scrape up enough change in college to put together a descent system. My system consists of a Lexicon CP1 Preamp, (2)NAD 2600s Amps, Audio Control Cross Over, Carver 490T CD Player, NHT speakers and a Velodyne sub.

I now think it is time to update my system and perhaps part with a few items in order to do this. I came across Home Theater Shack today while I was surfing for a Yamaha Receiver. One stop buying, selling, and information. I like it.

What's great HiFi without great music? Today I was on YouTube and I punched in "guitar" because I particularly love good acoustic music. I came across Edgar Cruz, Don Ross, and Andy McKee just to name a few. Then I noticed that many of these unique artists are recording under CANdYRAT Records. Don't let the name fool you. If you want to find serious new Jazz, Clasical, and Folk guitarists you will not be dissappointed.
