Hi everyone. My name is Matt. I live in Kansas City, Missouri. I am currently at work so I will keep this short. I have gotten interested lately in building my own speakers as I have very expensive taste but very little money. Plus building is alot of fun.

So far I have build 1 ported sub based on the 12" Dayton Audio Reference subwoofer and a pair of bookshelf speakers based on rjbadio's Microbe design but using a vifa ring radiator tweeter. Those bookshelves are nearing completion at the moment and the sub, which was built for a friend was finished last night 9/6/08. Everybody here seems to know quite a bit, especially in the sub forum and I will be wanting to build a sub for myself sometime early next year so I'll spend from now till then picking everyone's brains and figuring out exactly what I want to build.
