| Hello to everyone and seasons greatings Good day everyone. Greetings from Ellon, Aberdeenshire in Scotland. I came across the forum while searching for information to further calibrate my home cinema system. It’s a hobby that every once in a while threatens to take over my life  . It all started with a very basic all in one system from Panasonic. The projector was an AE500 which was connected to a S97 DVD player. A simple 5.1 receiver fed the speakers and a pull down 6ft screen, bought on eBay, brought the movies to life. Over the years I was bitten by the upgrade bug and now have a dedicated room with a decent set up. The projector is a JVC HD1, fed via an Onkyo 705. My DVD players are an Arcam DV137, Panasonic BD30 and Toshiba EP35. My front speakers are Kef Q4 with a Q6C as center and the 4 rears are all Kef 2005 eggs. Reading the forums has helped me understand what a system is capable of and I look forward to continuing my AV education.Have a great Christmas and a happy new year. Don | ||||
