Greetings from the UK

I am not one for too many words on these forums, I much prefer the face to face conversation and I certainly don't like any pretentious talk about what I've got or have done. I am a true WYSIWYG

I have worked in the electronics industry for many years but this was in a logistics role for major manufacturers and value-added suppliers to the same. Worked here in the UK and in the USA where I specialised in Quality Systems Management and business process control.

I did start up my own high-end audio distribution business when I relocated back to the UK but I had to close that due to my poor health.

Have a huge love of music and audio, but these days with my wife back at Uni doing her nursing degree as a mature student and looking after three young children, I don't get much time to listen as I would like.

I am registered disabled now after a major broken back injury in December 2001 and also suffer with M.E. which is very debilitating as well. Hence I am no longer able to work.

I think that's about it, looking forward to some good chat

Don’t know what WYSIWYG or M.E. is, but I do know what it’s like not to be able to work. Not fun.

What you see is what you get. Not sure about M.E

Hi Craig and welcome to the Shack!

Hopefully you find something a little different here that will make your chats more enjoyable and similar as face to face.

Hi Craig..

I agree, face to face is always best, but hard to do sometimes.. especially when locations are so far apart. Being able to converse with folks from Finland, India, Australia, UK, etc is the advantage of these types of boards.

Hope to "hear" from you soon!

Welcome Craig, I lived in MK for a few 10 years (when it was a reasonable size) before moving to Germany then the US. Seem to remember a good pub in Olney, but can't remember the name.
