New Member from NJ

Hi out there,

After reading through several interesting threads I deceided to join. It was refreshing to read through link upon link with absolutley no sign of the childish banter between members as noted on other forums.

What brought me here was the quest to upgrade my home audio system. Until recently I never considered building my own speakers. I'm an avid woodworking hobbiest and an Electrical Engineer, so why shouldn't I try? I look forward to an interesting education here.

Thank you all. As for the tons of great advice and great people out there, I already noticed.

I observed and did a bit of reading before I joined. After joining I posted a question in the DYI speaker area and have been getting tremendous response and great advice. Thanks again.
