Thanks for the welcome seen as though you have done this many times before i appreciate it.
This is the first time i've done a thread, so i will prob stumble around for a while.

I am planning an extension to our house which will consist of a master bedroom & a theatre room.

Some ideas i have so far... seating for 8 , 100 " screen and soundproofing.

Rough theatre dimensions - 6.3m (21') x 4.8m (16') x 2.4m (8').

Any alarm bells going off???

Any criticisim or ideas are most welcome.

sounds good to me. You would want to avoid a square room, or a room with lots of openeings to other rooms. Have fun. Dennis

Point taken on the square room dimensions, i will be avoiding room openings, just one doorway and no windows. Theatre room will be ground floor and bedroom will be above it. Thats why i will be spending alot of time researching room acoustics and sound proofing methods.
