hello everyone!

i have a good sized room i am converting onto a home theater... 10.5x 18.4x8' unfortunately i have a window to deal with and haven't figured out what to do about it. maybe some thick curtains i guess...

anyway... im probably gonna be trolling for a little while

Hi Jimmy, welcome. I put some dark window tint used for cars which did the trick. My HT room is virtually dark. Have fun. Dennis

Hi Jim, Welcome aboard!

For your window you could build a "plug" out of a piece of rigid foam isolation painted black. Lots of our members have gone that route and it blocks all the light.

Depends on why the window bugs you? Is it light or reflection of sound? If the former, curtains are good. If the latter, some acoutic treatments. I was considering hanging my plasma across my window, just for a second...
