I've enjoyed reading these forums as a guest and decided to join.

I have just moved into a rented apartment so that is providing some challenges for cable runs and acoustic treatments that I'm currently looking into.

I have the following gear:

* a new Panasonic 50" HD plasma (don't have model number on hand)
* Yamaha RXV661 Receiver
* Richter Harlequin MKII front speakers (that I'm looking to upgrade)
* Richter center (can't remember model, also looking to upgrade)
* SIB Compact Satellite rears (looking to upgrade)
* Ricter Krakatoa Sub

I use a HTPC running Vista MC with a Blu-ray drive.

My wife and I were down there a couple of years ago. We visited Sydney, Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains.
Anyway you've found a great site with lots of helpful people. Enjoy as this site can be addicting.

Hello. I am Ian - also in Sydney and have just joined so I can share my Sensurround horn project with others. The biggest "W-horn" is used as a plasma stand and has a pair of JBL 2241H 18 inch drivers feeding the horn throat via a common manifold. 117 Db at 25 - 30 Hz on about half power and lots of fun...
