| Greetings from the United Kingdom Hi , My name is Mike, Grandad to 4 little horrors and one little angel. Main interests are Stereo based and run my DVD through my Hi-Fi. Work in the marine Electronics service industry and am also a Radio Ham. Main Hi-fi is based around a John Shearne pre amp and phase3 reference power amp driving a pair of Eltax floor standers with a BK Electronics Sub which is the main reason I joined this forum to sort out setting it up properly. Also run a Freecom mediaplayer3 through a Sonic Impact Super T amp for MP3 and MPEG4 video. Other sources include 2 off CD decks, 2 off Turntables, MiniDisc, and DAB tuners. Also Grado SR80 headphones and awaiting a deadicated headphone amp. Past projects include building my own Valve audio Amp which sadly is no more since the output transformers expired. Also used to work for Racal Zonal in Quality control playing with pro audio equipment(Studer A80 decks). Thats just a bit about my background, can also be found on Head-Fi, and AV forums in the UK under a different name. | |||

| Re: Greetings from the United Kingdom Hi guys, thanks for the welcome. In answer to those questions about sport. Sorry NOT MY THING at all now. Used to be involve in motorsport about 20 years ago but lost interest when it all became so comercialised. Call it old age if you like but most sports tend to make me go to sleep. Mike. See my profile for my kit.. | |||
