Hi,

Found your site while looking for repair help with a couple of Mitsubishi units I have at home. Forum threads gave me the best information yet on replacing IC Convergence chip in a WS-55511.

Still reading a digesting all the information, but soon will order part and attempt replacement.

First question ... On my Mitsubishi WS-55511 the Owner's Guide shows very clearly how to remove the front screen. Will this gain me access to the STK chip repair, or do I need to go in from the back panel?

We're talking baby steps here.
