| Hello from Utah. Hi everyone, I've been lurking around here long enough and thought I should introduce myself. I'm Ed, I live in Utah, and I have five wives.... no just kidding. I have been into surround sound systems now for a little over 10 years, kinda got behind the times with surround sound, but have recently updated myself and my equipment. I started out with a bose dolby surround a little over 10 years ago. This year I got my first widescreen lcd tv and needed to upgrade the surround to something more modern. I got rid of the bose and picked up the onkyo s5100. Now with buying the premier acoustics pa-120 sub, wanting to learn more about acoustics, and the science behind audio, I have come across this forum. I have learned a lot so far and hope to learn more. Great forum! ![]() | ||||

| Re: Hello from Utah. Welcome to the Shack, Ed. We knew you were just kidding...no way you could have multiple wives and home theater at the same time...can you imagine WAF with an exponent of 5? Note that we have now begun moving vendors to the new pull down option at the top of the forum pages. You will find it between "Shack Shopping" and "Glossary". This will represent a great improvement in the vendor reference database, making it easier than ever to find what you are looking for. Contact me with any suggested entries, category recommendations, or additional information about the vendors that we have. If you are a vendor and want your company listed, there is an option to provide us with the information. | ||||

Lol! Lucky my only wife doesn't mind the stuff I have now. We were watching the dark knight the other night and I kept catching the big grin on her face everytime there was some serious lfe. And she kept saying how cool it was. ![]() | |||||

| Re: Hello from Utah. Yeah I think so. I posted something similar to that over on avsforum and a lot of people were saying how their wives always say to turn it down. So I'm glad I have a wife that likes the sound system. ![]() | ||||
