My name is Tom, and in live in Spencer IN.

I am a musician and own a recording studio 'Sweet Owen Sound'. I designed and built the critical rooms in my studio, as well as the acoustic treatment of each. Near by are well worn copies of F. Alton Everest's 'Master Handbook of Acoustics', Sound Construction On A Budget', and 'Small Budget Recording Studio from Scratch', which made it possible.

Doug Plumb from Acoustisoft ('ETF' and 'RplusD') contributed to my edition of 'Master Handbook of Acoustics', so I have his software for acoustic room measurements. As time goes by I keep thinking of more things I could do with the software if I had a little better understanding of it. I found 'Room EQ Wizzard' while searching for more information about using ETF software. I am anxious to import 'ETF' files into 'Room EQ Wizzard' to see how that software presents the data.

Now that I've found this forum I'll be spending some time looking around. It looks like the home theater world shares my interest in room acoustics.
