new poster rules

Hi All
Long time lurker, REW user, first time poster. I'm finally starting to get some good useage out of REW and definately appreciate the program and the forum!

Not thrilled with the first time poster policy tho. I just typed out a long detailed post in the REW forum looking for some advice, including a graph. all that work went down the tubes tho, as since I don't have 5 posts yet it kicked me out and deleted my post. sigh.

I guess I'll need to pad and try again sometime...

Howdy soundemon and welcome to the Shack...

Yep... we do try to warn new members of the restrictions... via a PM and via requirements to read our Forum Rules... otherwise you get what happens to you. It is somewhat akin to the ole instruction manual we never read... the first instruction is, "Be absolutely sure you read these entire instructions before proceeding or your unit will lock up and fail causing you to have to send it back to the factory for repair."

Don't give up on us though... there is "free" help just ahead.
