Noob to audio (sort of)

I'm a car audio convert (still a noob in that too) discovered the sound quality world over there, and am working on converting my friends computer audio setups to anything not made by logitech. Once I pikced up my sharp lc42d65u which gave me the opportunity to try out the Philips 7800 vintage receiver that I had kicking around and I was hooked. Paired them to some polk monitor 30's and got even more hooked. Then I started EQing and messing with RTA. There is so much I don't know.

In any event I work at a company that designs and installs monitoring systems aboard oceangoing luxury yachts. I'm electronics and computer nerd interchangeably and I've always had something taken apart. Ham radio operator, longtime gamer and car enthusiast as well.

Nice to meet you all.
