Hi all, and thanks to the moderators for providing such a cool place to discuss AV.

My name is Stevie, I'm a multi-instrumentalist from the north west of England. I have always demanded quality from my audio products which I definately favour over visual products. Over recent months I have been spending more and more time at my computer, such that I have invested in a couple of large drives in order to house my entire music collection uncompressed. As a result I no longer have a need for audio sources such as cd players, turnatables, cassete decks etc. So I am currently building a pair of large/ish speaker cabinets which I am concidering driving with a handful of modified T-amps. I will of course post some pics and opinions etc when I am complete, but don't be suprised if I post some threads asking advice about various things as I do wish to get the best from the set up.

I've stored all my music collection on hard disk as well, stops the disks themselves from getting scratched. Be interested to see those pics of your gear when finished.

Yes, having all of your music organized on a hard drive is very convenient, and if a CD gets scratched its good to ahve a backup. I'm looking forward to your posts. Welcome to the Shack.
