JBL-4645, saying hello from the United Kingdom

Hello the United Kingdom is dropping in for some fascinating and audio home cinema sharing and some fun as well I hope I enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere around as good home cinema forums are hard to find these days.

I’m not a total stranger to this world having played around with not for the past 24 years when I first connected a monaural Hitachi VCR with Dolby NR up to my father’s Hi-Fi system. Ever since then I’ve had interest with sound in the cinema past and present.

I’ve had a few years on and off working as, a cinema projectionists, so I hope to bring a few odds and ends techniques to the Home Theatre Shack forums site.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I think we just have, I have changed the animated signature image over to a static image as requested.

I’ve been having a slow look around the sites different verities of topics and looks like it’s going to be quite interesting around here.

Welcome to the Shack ashbe.
I had also hooked up something similar in my youth, though it involved an old quadraphonic, a reel to reel, a Betamax, and a Zenith 27" console.

Thank you and I must say that sounds, considerable a whole lot more complicated then my first hook up well done. My farther did have one of those 8 track tape machines not that I knew what it was at the time, but I sure do now.
