First post introduction

Tom here, from Cape Town.

I been into stereo since I was a kid. Now with the improved audio on DVD video (I still prefer the picture quality of analog tape) I've been enjoying using the stereo gear to get the most out of watching films.

Equipment used: Marantz DV4300, Benchmark DAC1, Flying Mole amps and a pair of Tannoy 12" speakers. TV is a Sanyo 32" widescreen.

I have downloaded RoomEQWizard, and hope to work on the BASS. I have a DEQ2496. I hope this will work, as the software mentions the FBD2496.

Well, I hope to be able to contribute to the forum sometime, these projects can be time consuming, but the process is half the fun.
