just getting started

hello everyone, i'm new to home theater that's why i'm here. i have the chance to build the ultimate home theater and need input. i wish i could say the sky's the limit but technology is expensive. i am building the home home theater from the ground up and since i am a carpenter/fabricator/welder and oh yeah DREAMER! the building is going to be great. so why i am here? to tap the knowledge this forum presents. i would like to ask for everyones input on the ultimate home theater, starting from scratch. seating from two to ten people. i have been looking at projectors but i feel the cost may be too much at this time. but, i am looking at spring to build this project anyway, just maybe! thanks, scott

Building the HT from the ground up already puts you at an advantage...many of us have to figure out a way to get our HTs to work in our existing non-ht environments...lets just say that can get just a little tricky

Hopefully you stay around and share you progress with us. It'll be fun to live vicariously through all of your experiences with awesome ht equipment! And if you ever need help do let us know and I'm sure someone will have an answer for ya. Welcome aboard!

If you don't have a BFD for your sub, get one fast!
