| Hello from the Midwest I started getting into music in my teens. I had a little room in the basement and my wife asked me if I would want to use the family room (28 X 20 X 12) which doesn't get much use. WooooooHoooooooo. I finally after all these years get a chance to work on an audio room. So I told her straight face " Well, okay". So now I am moving my stereo and computer in the room to get started in testing it with the help of RoomEQ and Radio Shack sound meter. I have a ton of questions and hopefully I help other people with ideas or suggestions. | ||||

| Re: Hello from the Midwest Welcome, Bryan. You will find lots of friends here happy to help and interested in what you can share. Note that we have now begun moving vendors to the new pull down option at the top of the forum pages. You will find it between "Shack Shopping" and "Glossary". This will represent a great improvement in the vendor reference database, making it easier than ever to find what you are looking for. Contact me with any suggested entries, category recommendations, or additional information about the vendors that we have. If you are a vendor and want your company listed, there is an option to provide us with the information. | ||||

| Re: Hello from the Midwest I sure will share my progress on this project. I mentioned about accoustic panels to control sound in the room. My wife is concerned it would look junky. So one challenge is to be creative in disguising the panels. ![]() | ||||
