Hello everyone from MA

Hi to all in the forum!

I belong to a few forums and I happened to find this one through a link on one of them. Just lurking around a bit and liked what I saw so I joined here as well.

I am nearing the end of my home theater project (well, does it ever really end? ), one which turned into an entire basement project. I went into this whole thing about three years ago, with marginal carpentry/construction skills and have learned a lot, both from my brothers and numerous friends. I have done the majority of the construction, except for hanging the sheetrock, plumbing and the electrical. My basement was an empty shell, except for studded and insulated outer walls, and a couple of floor drains for my bathroom. I now have a working bathroom, family room (that my wife refers to as the "lobby"), laundry room and 15' x 22' dedicated theater room, complete with 12" riser, stage and separate equipment closet. The theater room needs wall fabric, carpet and trimwork completed, which I plan to finish in the next 2 months.

Equipment list is as follows:
Pioneer VSX-1015 receiver
Panasonic AX-100 front projector (on order)
Carada 112" screen in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio (on order)
Oppo DVD player
Samsung DVD player
XBox 360
Sony CD/SACD player
CSW speakers consisting of Towers, Centerstage, four Surround 5.1's and two Basscube12 subwoofers.

I'll post some pictures when I'm done!

John
