Be sure to check out the Room EQ Wizard software - A new version was just released!

If you've never looked at Room EQ Wizard, here's what it does in a nutshell:

Plays test tones through your soundcard.

records the input of a microphone connected to your soundcard.

Displays frequency response graphs. Waterfall graphs and more.
