Hello fellow Shacksters!
I've been hanging around here for about a month and thought I'd introduce myself. I've always enjoyed music and technology, but mainly started back in my early teens (about 30 years ago). I'm an enthusiastic audio and home theater hobbiest. I'm also an electrical engineer by profession, so I really appreciate the work that goes into providing us with all the gadgetry of our hobby.
My basic setup is in our great room, so I need to be careful of decorations for the WAF. I purchased a surround sound system over 10 years ago (and since replaced it) and my first (and only so far) HDTV about 5 years ago. I also have a setup downstairs, but its actually my older equipment. I also don't want to get too serious down there yet because my teenagers and friends hang out down there.
Anyway, I aim to hang around here with you all. Thank you for your past responses to my postings and I look forward to our future discussions.
