| joining in from San Luis Obispo hey folks, found this forum from another forum (martin logan club) and there was a thread about some room measurment software that i thought would be fun to mess around with...since i had to join this forum (so the software said) to dl the software, i took a look around and i liked what i saw. this will be a nice ballance to the ML nuts (NOT a bad thing). plus why wouldnt i want more chances to talk HT (or general AV)? currently i am running an all ML front end (aerius-i for L/R and cinema for the C) and paradigm ADP-370 surounds. my power comes from a rotel RB-976MkII (which i randomly got free from the previous owner of the logans...he was just goin to toss it)!!! i have a rotel RSP-1068 for my pre/pro and a rotel RDV-1080 DVD player. the orignal amp (that im still paying off) is a rotel 1075....with the free amp i can play around with bi-amping...my sub is a chop-shop style combo of driver cabinet and amp...so i wont get into that unless you want a little laugh...but for now it performs tollerably future purchases include a sanus A/V gear rack a furman line conditioner/surge protector (or two depending on which model i choose) and some better cables....new subS will be a must as well...either DIY or bought...or both. much much further ill think of a video display of some sort. cant wait to dive further into this forum and see what i can find out tty all later ~greg | |||
