Hello from Salt Lick City

I was drawn in by REW, and I am happy I was, this site is great! I've been designing and installing home theaters in new construction for awhile now, and I LOVE it! I hope to learn from this site as much as I hope to contribute. However, I must admit I have yet to achieve any level of CEDIA certification, but it's on my "to-do" list. Shameless plug: Should anybody need help with their HT in the Salt lake area... you know what to do!

Hello smithy from Salt Lick City and welcome to the Shack!

I've installed a couple of new constructions... those are the most fun to me and much easier to pre-wire of course.

I'm sure we will enjoy having you around, so take ya hat off and pull up a seat, no sense in going anywhere else...

Welcome to the Shack Smithy,... glad to have you. Looking forward to hearing about some of your installations and the components you use.

I'm just a bit north of you in Clearfield

Re: Hello from Salt Lick City

That's a great idea, i'll be finishing a theater as soon as the carpet goes in next week, and i'll make sure I take some pics and put them up (i'd love to hear some constructive criticism). It's not a gazillion dollar super theater, since the owner wanted the room to be "multi-purpose" (a curse word to an installer...) But it's a good 10-12g setup that will work well. And thanks for the warm greetings!
