new to the page,just started reading a few days ago.found the place when I was look up diy speaker stands and now I want to diy some ht speakers.

Welcome to the Shack,.....nuthin' wrong with a poor mans set-up,.. done been there myself. Couple DIY speakers for the mains and center, stick the Bose in back as surrounds and you'll be well on your way.
