Hello from Australia

Greetings from Sydney, Australia!!

I recently saw my friend's home threatre system and it has inspired me to build my own system. At this stage, I am a complete newbie to home threatre, but have been interested in mid/hi-fi for around 20 years. My old system is a 2 channel NAD amp, Rogers speakers and a Denon CD player. I also have a turntable which has not seen the light of day for over 15 years!

As a part of this new interest, my brother-in-law and I have decided to build our own speakers. I am very interested to learn about BFD and REQW after reading about them at other sites.

Look forward to enjoying this worldwide electronic community.

Cheers,

Re: Hello from Australia

There's a few of us Aussies around here - I'm just up the road, and I'm sure there are some from Sydney.

Re: Hello from Australia

Thanks for those comments.

You'll find the mood here more mellow than the argy-bargy of some of the other boards, not to mention top line support for the REW software.
