G"day from down under, I am another Aussie & live in the smallest state of oz Tasmania. I am like the rest of you a complete hifi & av nut, I work as a custom installer & love the challenges some installs deliver but most of all the best part of the job is seeing the look on customers faces when they hear music & movies the way it should sound, that helps more people get involved in this great {& expensive} hobby. My system consists of Genesis speakers & Classe electronics, a full list of my gear is in my profile page. We are just starting extensions & a full renovation of our listening/cinema room so i will post some pic's of what it used to look like & the renovation in progress & hopefully a geat room when finished. I know what you mean about the look on peoples faces..
I used to do custom installations on Stereo systems, many years ago..And that look used to make me feel I had done my job properly..
