| Hello from Colorado Hello All, I stumbled on the shack a couple of weeks ago while researching screen materials. Once I finish painting the basement, my next project is going to be a laminate screen. I'm excited. After that, it's back to HTPC building, and then room acoustics. One of these days, I might actually get around to sitting in a chair, eating some popcorn, and watching a movie or playing a game! | |||

| Re: Hello from Colorado What is a basement? We don't have those here in Florida nor in Louisiana where I came from. I love Colorado. Have not been able to get out there in the last few years, but it is one of the most amazing places on the planet IMO. Welcome to the shack. | Re: Hello from Colorado Thanks for the welcome, all. I definitely love the basement. It's my room, and my wife's agreed that I can do anything I want with it. And, yes, she's sticking to that agreement--we'll see what happens when I start covering the room with sound panels. For now, it'll be home to a small theater, a pool or ping pong table, and my MAME arcade. Before CO, I never lived in places where there were basements. I've definitely grown accustomed to them. My brother just bought a house with no basement, and I find it really strange. Where's he going to put his theater? | |||
