Smile Greetings

Let me take a moment to introduce my self and to thank the administrators of this site. I don't mind sharing that my name is Bill. I am from a little town in Texas about three miles from the US/Mexico border. I have lived here most of my life and intend to continue that trend. I love music of all kinds, both live and recorded. I have been around music since I was 14 years old and my mom introduced me to her (at that time) new Philco Record Player, AM/FM Radio, and 8-Track Player! I was amazed at the quality of the sound coming from those huge speakers compared to my little AM Battery operated radio with it's 1" full spectrum driver! I was completely and throughly impressed at how this system operated and the sounds, oh the sounds! I was bit, and bit BIG! It became an addiction that I have never been able to break no matter how I try (I really didn't try but had to say that). The equipment list grew as well as the knowledge and thirst for more. I got involved with my cousin who was a gospel pianist for a quartet and he got me started into the recording end of this addiction, oh my! Teac/Tascam mixers, reel to reel tape recorders, separate amplifiers, studio monitors! As stated earlier, Oh my! Then, if all that wasn't enough, Home Theater steps in! WOW! Just when you thought it was safe to play quadrophonic records in the daytime! Well to make a long story short, here I am 35 years later, married with two beautiful children who share my love of music. A very nice HT system at home and an exciting and very rewarding ministry as FOH engineer (self titled) at our church. I am very blessed and happy to find you guys, especially in a place like this! Thank you all for having me and I look forward to a very positive time here!

Good to have you here Bill!

Someone asked for this so I'll put it back here in my sig. Keep in mind that the raw numbers are old and I haven't updated it for awhile. Gain readings are there as well.
