| New guy saying "HI" :) Hi my name is Steve, I live in the county east of Colorado Springs, Colorado I got interested in audio while in high school building my first set of speakers, a control amplifier and power amplifier around 1970, the amp used tubes. I started collecting audio equipment including the old 4-channel equipment back in the mid 70's. In the late 70's I built a pair of speakers using drivers and crossover from an outfit up in Washington called Speakerlab. Due to moving a lot and the pressures of the job I did not upgrade or buy new types of equipment much I did buy newer Teac Reel to Reel tape decks back in the 80's and acquired several CD players in the 90's. Part of my upgrade included the purchase of Carver separates back in the late 80's driving a pair of AR-9 speakers which I still own. I have a 53" rear project TV and a Pioneer Surround Receiver driving JBL Northridge E100 speakers. I am rekindling my interest in audio/music as well as home theater. I am sure I will learn much here. Thanks for allowing me to drop in on your guys Steve ![]() | |||
