Amateur musician saying Hello!

Hi all, I'm an amateur musician/homestudio person here in the states. Funny thing, I had actually registered here about a year ago, but among reformatting my comp, and a million other things going on, I had -completely- forgotten I had signed up on this forum -cough- So, I'm just making myself known. I play trumpet, piano, little bit of bamboo flute, and I've just recently started trying to teach myself acoustic guitar. (bought an Ibanez V50 package off of zzounds.)

My "studio" is a bit modest. Monitoring is done through a pair of Tannoy Reveal6 passives on an ART SLA-1 amp. The DAW is a dual-boot comp running XP and Ubuntu Studio on dual-boot. I mostly use FL Studio on the windows side, and Rosegarden for music notation on the Linux side. I don't really work with recording live music or anything seeing as I'm working out of my bedroom here, but maybe someday.
