Hi, my name is wes I just was reading some of the material on here and thought I would join up, i am having a issue with my set at the moment and hope to have it resolved shortly (not fast enough) I really would like to have had it fixed last night, haha!, enough of that at the moment, I live in central california, stockton, I am not necessarily a a/v enthusiast but I do like nice crisp video and audio, I would call my current setup middle of the road I have the mits wd73831 73" dlp 1080p which so far I have enjoyed, it replaced my mits 73" 1080i projection that I had for 3 years or so and never really ever gave me a problem other than bad caps on the main board which is a common issue, I have also jumped the boat to blueray (sony bdp-s300) which just adds icing to the cake on the dlp, I have also enjoyed it tremendously and have recently noticed the blueray movie selection just doubled in size at the local target , I use a pioneer elite vsx-82txs which works just awesome I have it paired to (2) athena ws-60's for a center channel, (2) jbl nd310's for left/right, (2) klipsch kg 4.5's for surround left/right and a pair of jbl e250p subwooffer's, I have sd tivo connected, xbox connected, and a pc with vista connected, one of the nice things about having the pc connected is being able to listen to and or watch litterally thousands of radio stations and other internet broadcast programs. I work for myself and all I do is sell on ebay full time for the last 8 years with a bit of success, the ebay thing generally keeps me pretty busy and I spend 90% of my time sitting here in front of the pc. I am a fairly knowledgeable person not a know it all but more of a know a little about a lot of different things, and if I can be of any assistance to anyone I will give my input and you can take it for whatever its worth. I am a certified pc technician but that's about the only thing I certified for! haven't been certifed crazy yet!

Welcome Wes, sounds like you have a great system. I used to be an electronics repairman and HATED to work on Mitsubishi. They were always harder to work on than other brands (except Bang and Olofsen [sp?], which are physically impossible to work on!!). I did, however, love their performance, always great. I have a PJ and a 91" screen. I am waiting to get a pj with 1080p AND either LED's or Laser's for the light source. Hope we can ask you some computer questions when needed. Have fun. Dennis
