Another new guy from Pearland, TX

I just joined the site and was even surprised to see someone else from Pearland. I recently sold my Klipsch CF4-based HT system, so now I'm building back up. With a full woodshop in the garage, I'm thinking hard about building a subwoofer to start the process. Any Houston-area SW builders around for advice / demos of their builds?
