| Hi from the east canada hey all, i'm from montreal, always love listening and feel music since i was young. i started getting serious in the audio department and learned ALOT with car audio. unfortunalty, in september i got rid of the car and got a smaller car not worth installing audio equipment in, so I went ahead and got into home audio/ HT. ![]() gotta have a system somewhere ! hehe well. heres a little evolution of what a had/have. my first real sub setup( aa arsenal 15" in 3.8NET @30hz with 67.5sq.inch): sounded really flat, deep but dindt pass the 140s db sticked around 138-139, on music ![]() ![]() my second sub setup( aa havoc 18" in 4.2NET @36hz with 73sq.inch): was loud enough, snappy , sounded crisp and had some nice punch and lows but no low end extension like my first setup, but still sounded very good. ![]() ![]() my third and last setup( 2 tc-10oem 10", each in 1.55cu.ftNET @40hz with39sq.inch ) even louder than both first and second setup, monster lows, LOT of excursion, noticeably lot louder and sounded very deep, yet, good and very controlled. ![]() ![]() heres a little project i did just for fun: was actually amazed, they have LOT of potential and sound good, got plenty low. ![]() ![]() got lot of vid of these in here: http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m...20Subs/Videos/ heres a little group pic of all the sub i had/have ![]() Yes I am a pic freak , well i guess that shows you all what experience i have... dont have MUCh but still i love building boxes and all. anything audio related i adore. | |||

| Re: Hi from the east canada well, now on to my room, heres what I had before: ![]() now I'm working on a 2.2 HT/music system, heres with it consist: xti1000 amplifier for bookshelves xti2000 amplifier for 2 tc-10oem 2x art cleanbox for xlr to rca line converter 2 tc-10oem each in .78NET stuffed sealed enclosure knukonceptz rca wires, monter 12gauge for subs and knu 10gauge for bookshelves, basic xlr wires. and what itll consist: b&w 685 bookshelves x-fi pro elite as the source/preamp widescreen monitor still not sure what size which model... got half of the system done; here are some pics: for now the xti1000 is running the sony bookshelves and they sound somewhat cleaner and louder. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Samsung 24" LCD Widescreen 245BW X-Fi Elite Pro Soundcard B&W 685 TC-10OEM sealed .78cu.ft stuffed *Soon to be AA hAvoc 18" with 2 PR1816 in 7.8cu.ft@18hz powered by Crown XTi2000*Crown XTi1000- 275rms@8ohm x2/Art cleanbox Crown XTi2000- 2000rms@4ohm bridged/Art cleanbox Last edited by SQBubble : 11-27-07 at 09:55 PM. | |||
