Howdy Everybody.

I'm a home theater enthusiast on a budget who's starting to get into DIY projection technologies. I just picked up my first projector, a used Epson Powerlite 600P and I'm looking forward to tackling the issue of making & mounting a DIY projection screen on a cinder block wall in my basement.

I found this place by the awesome writeups on laminate projection surfaces in the forms. i was mesmerized by all the data and screenshots on different types of laminate surfaces provided. I don't think I'll be going with laminates, but it seems there's a lot of knowledgeable people here.

I'm a Microsoft .Net Software Developer Working in the medical industry by day and I also do live Sound Reinforcement and Club DJ work in the evenings.
