Hello all!

I registered just over a month ago, but due to my travel (work) schedule, I have not had time to register or lurk lately.

First off, my name is Brad but that was taken so I tried paint guy and sure enough it was open. I usually get referred to by that title in body shops as I am a rep for a paint manufacturer and often find myself in shops troubleshooting questions and problem solving ... "Hey, theres the paint guy!"

I am a displaced southerner originally from Huntsville, AL now living in Orlando, FL. My current HT setup is actually the family room, but I am currently in the process of planning on what speakers to build for my 5.1 setup (most likely Statements and Mini Statements) and subwoofer ... thats I how I found this forum, from the CIB (Cult of the Infinetly Baffled forum, for those who are not familiar with CIB). I am planning on an IB sub and building the other speakers at the same time for a complete makeover.

I like to think that I am fairly handy and have quite a few tools that I have accumulated over time so building everything I want shouldnt be all that difficult, just going to take a little of time and some guidance from some of the experts.

I will be more than happy to answer any questions that I can, and help if at all possible. I look forward to reading and learning more from all of you.

When we lived in Troy, Alabama, one of the Troy State University football coaches, Jim Kramer and his wife Kelly, lived next door to us. I remember he had something to do with Apopka High School at some point in time. I know they lived in Deltona for a while and we visited them there. They now live in Georgia.
