Staying Up Even Later...

Who needs sleep anyway? As a friend of mine says "You have plenty of time to sleep once they put you in a box."

Looking forward to being proficient with the 1024DSP and REQ.

Nice job Sonnie.

PS- Is there a list of suitable acronyms?

Hey Jeff and welcome to the Shack!

Sleep deprivation here...

Acronyms is somethng we have yet to create, but the standard ones are pretty well accepted as long as they don't intrude on the Forum Rules.

We still have to finish up the Manufacturers Links, Acronyms, and Glossary.

From the forum rules:
Please... no vulgar or obscene language, no cursing, not even mild profanity is allowed... even acronyms for profane language is to be avoided... we wanna be squeaky clean!

(I'll insert the asterisk so as not to offend)

If a reader finds a post really funny, is the acronym LM*O! acceptable? I'm not trying to pick nits here, just establish boundaries.

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: Staying Up Even Later...

Unfortunately that might cross the boundaries... generally mods are instructed to edit astericks with something acceptable. Obviously we won't catch them all, but we do try. The larger we get the more difficult that will be too.

We do have a really good emoticon for that...

I know it might seem picky but if we allow one then we end up having to allow others and it just doesn't keep us "squeaky clean", if you know what I mean.
