Checking in from Bristol, UK

Hi everybody, nice to greet you - I found you when looking for the latest version of RoomEQ (guess I've spent days with previous versions, typing in the figures etc). Wonder if this one will tame my SVS! Don't forget it's the Bristol HiFi show 22-24 Feb, well worth a visit if you're nearby
Cheers,

Hi derekn and welcome to the Shack!

REW won't tame your response, but it will tell you what filters you need to tame it and the BFD will do the taming.

Re: Checking in from Bristol, UK

Thanks all for your welcome. Sonnie - just for the record I'm from the Tag M side of the family and so old that I remember inputting data manually into V1 of the "TMREQ", as it was then (I think my contribution paid for the third word on the second line on John's plaque). V4 is brilliant but I still get a black hole in my room that swallows signals around 60Hz! Best wishes.
