Hello to all

Hi all,

Allow me to introduce myself.... I always wanted to have a place dedicated to Audio/Video. The very first toy I made was a projector way back in 1978, when I was 8 year old ...sounds wierd.
I used to collect 35 mm film rolls from the theaters, and run my own motion pictures... gather old school buddies and show them tiny clips. I remember I used the sun rays thru couple of mirrors...instead of lamp, and a lens from a local optician.
Well that was pretty basic stuff.... Got into photograpy started with SLRs right now in transition to DSLRs...
Well just last week my wife gave the Green signal for a dedicated HT..... So I demolised my wood shop( I'd say moved aside) ....and started seaching around for a forum where I can learn todays' Hi- def world..
Well to begin with I have scored 19'X17'X8' of space in my basement and started framing, non load bearing walls so I went 24" oc. Soon I'm gona share my photos/updates.
I'm quite new to the recent audio and video stuff though back in mid 80's I used to make my own amps and speakers ( pretty handy...then ). I love exploring my wood skills learning each day, enjoying and above all my wife admires all that I can do, let it be anything.(DIYer..)
Well I don't want to go too long on the very first post... ... right now, I have spent around 15 hours in my basement framing ...do have a plan/ budget(limited:..) but lot of time and lot of energy for this project.
I look forward for suggestions/comments, and critics, in my future posts, I love reading and hanging around on this forum.
A few photos of my project I hope the link works..

Thanks for having me around.
Aqorps.

Hello!

Welcome to the party. The bathroom doesn't work, so just go in the neighbor's yard!

I love my shop, but I also love my theater, it would be a tough call for me. I think I'd have to combine the two...
