Hello from Belgium

Hello all,

Let me introduce myself.
I'm 38 "pro" classical musician maried and two kids.
Seven years ago we build a nice house with big rooms etc. and like it very much.
Only thing we did not think about was acoustics and that is really a mess.
And if I say a mess it really is.

I like big open space with few furniture but that makes the rooms sound like a church.
So no I'm gone do something about it and from this day I will start learning how to fight it.

Hope you don't mind me asking for any usefull info.
BTW any other people from Belgium or shops dedicated to acoustics?

Welcome, Johan.

I would start with a thick carpet and pad, if you don't have it already.
"As a rule of thumb, try to cover 1/3rdof all surfaces with something soft."
And EQ your sub!
