New Member; great info on this forum

I found this forum while searching for some top quality audio isolation transformers to eliminate some ground loop noise.. Lots of great info on this forum!..

I have a high end audio system that I use for the sound from my Sony Bravia 52" LCD HDTV and unfortunately, there is some fairly long wiring between the two. The HDTV and other gear is on a protected 1.4kw UPS power source and unfortunately due to the power demands of the audio amp, that gear is on a separate circuit, hence a tad of ground loop noise.

I a retired electrical engineer and also amateur radio guy.. Currently work part time for a company that installs emergency power systems, (DC power plants with battery backup, UPS, specialized grounding systems and generators for commercial customers..

Currently working on a 480VAC 60kw generator and 18kw UPS installation.
